Irrigation Tutorial

Residents may order and pay for irrigation here on-line or in person at the signup sheets posted outside the office.

Deadline for your week of irrigation is 9:00am on Monday.  If you sign up after 9:00am on Monday, it is unlikely that you will be on the schedule. The Zanjeros need time to create the schedule water based on where and how much is ordered. Asking them to re-do the schedule because you are late, especially during the summer months, is difficult to accommodate. You can call the office at 480-988-2731 and request a late sign up and IF POSSIBLE, the Zanjero may be able to add you to the schedule for an additional fee. It is not a guarantee that you will receive water if you sign up late or call your Zanjero directly. All efforts are made to deliver water to everyone who needs it, but we all must work together to make it possible. Please be considerate of your Zanjero.

To order residential irrigation:

There is a minimum purchase of 1/2 hour; whether buying on-line or signing up at the office, Above the 30 minute minimum, water can be ordered in 1/4-hour increments. Enter your block number and last name in the first field and a contact number in the second field. Click on “Add to Cart” – which takes you to a Paypal window. Enter at least one 1/2 hour increment as a “quantity” in the Paypal window. For example, if you wish to order 1-3/4 hours, you would enter “3” in the 1/2 hour segment field and “1” in the 1/4 hour segment field.  Paypal does not understand fractional quantities like “2-3/4” and so this is how we are working around a Paypal shortcoming.

The order field on the website should look like this:

Note the block number is listed first, then last name

The contact number is only visible to CHCID staff in case we need to reach you about your irrigation.

Please note that irrigation schedules are posted at 1pm every Tuesday.

Got Gaskets? – If some of your irrigation valves are leaking it is likely to be because the gasket is worn out. CHCID does sell gaskets for the most common valves in use, including for the obsolete KT valves.

Long Term Irrigation Schedules – These are the schedules of which weeks during the year your side of the District will receive water. Quick link to north side and south side irrigation sign up schedules for 2017.
