Call To Election

The Irrigation Water Conservation District governs our annual elections.

Persons interested in running for one seat on the Board of Directors may file nomination paperwork with the District beginning on Sunday, June 15, 2025. The last day to file nomination paperwork is Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

The Chandler Heights Citrus Irrigation District Board of Directors consists of three elected members. Each Director serves a three-year term, and one member of the Board is elected each year. The election of a Director is on the second Tuesday after the first Monday in November. Ballots will be counted at close of business on November 12, 2025.

In accordance with our By-Laws, residents interested in serving on the Board of Directors must own property and reside in the District, be a U.S. citizen, have accounts in good standing with the District, and submit a nominating petition with a minimum of ten qualified signatures according to the Election calendar linked below.

The candidate who receives the most votes on the District election day takes office at the January Board meeting following the election. At the January meeting each year, the Board elects one member to serve as President for that year.
